Louis E. Leto Obituary

It is with great regret that we announce the passing of Louis E. Leto on June 8, 2007. He was preceded in death by his daughter Kerry. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Laverne, his son Kenneth Leto, his daughter Kathleen Leto-Weatherford and son in-law Dana Weatherford. His two sisters Ida Patton (Bud) and Helen Miller (Mark), many nieces , nephews and one great-grandson Gavin Weatherford.He was born in Pennsylvania in 1923 to Peter and Angelina Leto where he grew up with a large extended family. He was still close to his family and friends there. Lou was a proud veteran of WWII and was a member and past President of the American Legion in Franklin Park, Illinois for 50 years.He was also a successful business man in Saratoga for many years. He served the community as president of the Chamber of Commerce and the Saratoga Rotary. He especially enjoyed the camaraderie of the Rotary and remained committed to their fund raising activities.At his request no services will be held, in lieu of flowers please send contributions to the Saratoga Rotary Charitable Foundation P.O.
